The Jamestown, Mo. Petro-Card 24 is moving across town to a new address with bigger storage tanks and a newly available product for purchase.
Dyed diesel will now be an option for customers, along with gasoline and traditional diesel fuel. Dyed diesel is sold tax-free and is meant for off-road vehicles such as tractors, generators and construction equipment. In addition to an expanded product offering, the location is being equipped with a 10,000-gallon storage tank for each product, a substantial upgrade over the 2,000-gallon fuel tanks at the old site.
“The new Jamestown site will be larger with more room for maneuvering,” says John Friedrich, manager of maintenance and construction. “Having a larger driveway will make it easier for big trucks and machinery to get in and out of the facility.”
Piers for the fuel tanks are currently being poured, and the new location is expected to be open in late July or early August. The site will be located at 327 S. Mill St. in Jamestown.
