Winners of MFA Oil Company’s 2020 college scholarships have been selected:
Kyle Linneman, son of Kelly Linneman, a BPLP driver from Salisbury, is a winner of the C.F. Robertson Scholarship. Kyle attended Salisbury R-IV High School in Salisbury, Mo., and plans to attend State Technical College of Missouri and study electrical technology.
Amanda Newbold, daughter of Stacy Newbold, senior compensation and retirement specialist in the home office, is a winner of the Dale H. Creach Scholarship. Amanda attended Boonville R-I High School in Boonville, Mo., and plans to attend the University of Missouri and major in linguistics.
Callie Fuehring, daughter of Sarah Hoenshell, senior CSR for the northwest district, is also a winner of the Dale H. Creach Scholarship. Callie attended Santa Fe R-X High School in Alma, Mo., and plans to attend the Missouri University of Science and Technology to study mechanical engineering.
Sophia Carr, daughter of Chuck Carr, wholesale account representative for APM, is the winner of the Jerry Taylor Scholarship. Sophia attended Independence High School in Independence, Kan. She plans to attend Labette Community College then Kansas State University and major in environmental or computer engineering.
Winners were chosen based on academic record, school/community activities and characteristics of leadership. There were several very strong applicants and we wish all of them success in their future education and careers.
