The annual open enrollment for the company’s benefit plan will be here soon. This year’s period will begin on Monday, Oct. 30, 2017 and will continue through Friday, Nov. 10, 2017. During open enrollment, employees have the opportunity to enroll in new benefit plans or make changes to their existing coverage.
If you do not plan to change your health benefit elections, no action will be required on your part and your 2017 election benefits will remain in effect in the new year with the exception of any Flexible Spending Account (FSA), which you must re-enroll in on an annual basis. If you wish to continue or begin a Healthcare or Dependent Care FSA in 2018, you must enroll during the open enrollment period.
Please watch your mailboxes! Open enrollment packets will be mailed to all eligible employees during the latter half of October. These packets will include details about our benefit plans and explain plan changes for the upcoming year.
